In September 2024, Jaipur, India, will become the epicentre of an inspiring exchange of ideas as ESHRE joins forces with the Indian Fertility Society (IFS) and the Indian Society For Assisted Reproduction (ISAR) to host the second edition of our collaborative conference, after a virtual debut in 2022.

This event aims to blend European and Indian expertise, not only to showcase the power of partnership but also to highlight ESHRE’s dedication to expanding its global reach.

The carefully composed programme is an interesting mix of top-notch local and European speakers. The conference will be spread over three days, Friday 13 to Sunday 15 September 2024, with the first day dedicated to nine Pre Congress Workshops. Day two and three will feature panel discussions and plenary sessions before lunch and keynote sessions in the afternoon. The Plenary Sessions will focus on European, Indian and International guidelines with presentations on poor ovarian response, PCOS, add-ons and recurrent implantation failure. In addition to guidelines, the programme features presentations on challenges in reproductive medicine. Pauliina Damdimopoulou will bring the issue of “Environmental factors and endocrine disruptors” to the attention of the delegates. Karen Sermon, ESHRE Chair and Aisling Ahlström will tackle other types of challenges (or opportunities) in their respective presentations on preimplantation genetic testing and AI in the IVF laboratory.

The afternoon keynote sessions will be hosted in parallel and allow delegates to pick and select from a large variety of topics ranging from basic science – with lectures on “The plasticity of the human preimplantation embryo” and “Stem Cells: will it revolutionise Infertility Treatment” – to very practical clinical lectures on “Scheduling IVF Cycles” and “Choosing the right sperm”.

In the mornings, before the invited scientific lectures, delegates can engage in discussing recent advances in reproductive science and medicine during the oral and poster presentations.

After the sessions, there is time for the cultural programme. Details are to be unveiled, but the social programme is promised to be “unique and full of surprises”.

With an interesting science programme full of variation and a social programme to take in the local culture while networking, Jaipur is promising to be the place to be in September 2024
